Our Lady of Lourdes School has a long history of educating West Harlem’s children. It opened in 1909 and since has been a pillar of the community. Our students are of diverse ethnicities and religious backgrounds. They come from the Upper West Harlem community and beyond.
As a small Catholic school, we pride ourselves on our close-knit community. Everyone is welcome when they step inside our doors. We provide our students with a solid academic curriculum and a safe, structured environment. We believe that every student who enters an OLL classroom grows academically and socially.
Our students are encouraged to embrace Catholic principles and to participate in all aspects of the faith. We have an ongoing commitment to the progress and improvement of the individual that Catholicism facilitates, and we strive to live up to our mission every day.
Every year, our students are accepted into top Catholic high schools including Mother Cabrini, Cardinal Spellman, All Hallows, and Cathedral. |
